Every year, Give Local York brings our community together for a 24-hour online giving event supporting local nonprofits. It’s one of the most important fundraising days of the year for Friends & Neighbors — and one of the easiest ways for you to make a difference.

When you give to Friends & Neighbors during Give Local York, your donation funds street outreach, Beacon operations, and the advocates who build relationships that lead to stable housing.

Want to multiply your impact? Start a peer-to-peer fundraiser and rally your friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors to give alongside you.

It’s simple:

Set up your fundraiser page on the Give Local York platform. It takes about five minutes. Set a personal goal — we suggest $300, but any goal works. Share your page through email, text, and social media. Tell people why you give to Friends & Neighbors in your own words. That’s it. The platform tracks everything for you.
